Hi Mike,

> That sounds like a plan ;-)
Went well hehe.. now they're not killing us with those 'claws' now.. The vet
did get them for us yesterday thank goodness :)
>> Yeah, they're sleeping all over poor Toby now I laughed when I

I think it would have been a LOT easier on the kitties if they hadn't feral
kittens.. last week they wouldn't even acknowledge us... I think they were
supremely freaked out by the pups :( But today, 1 week and 2 days after puppy
arrival (out to be a term for that Lol) they finally came out and actually sat
on our computer desks again like they used to... Leo jumped up on my lap and
gave me a kiss then left .. That's the first time since the puppies
arrived that he's done that! Next step will be when he actually sits in the
same room with the pups.. Lulu already is doing that.. walks around them like
the big brave kitty haha... Lizzy still runs when she sees them..and so does
Lola.. ah well.. eventually :)
>> Which is really a good thing, Cuz if Toby is a good dog, the chances are
>> he will raise them to be good dogs too.
>> Yeah that is exactly what I'm seeing.
> Heheheh, he is the big man on campus right now. And thats good.
Yeah, even though he obviously feels like crap.. poor guy. Well, with the
meds he's taking, I think he's feeling better already somewhat. He's not
coughing as much, which is a relief.
> Had a good newf who raised our lab and then she raised our other newf and he

Aw.. they sounded like good dogs.
>> hahahaha yeah - they have to get in his face every chance they can..
>> Toby lets them eat out of his dish too.. while he's eating
> Now thats cool! I don't think there will be any problems along the
> getting along lines whatsover. It seems that tough part is already
> conquered.
I think so ;) He's still giving them warning growls when they really get in
his face, and since I found out about the bordetella, it makes more sense. I
don't blame him a bit either.. I think about giving them a growl myself
sometimes haha..
>> We took the pups outside today since it was 80F ... what a weird
>> spring - but I'm not complaining that much I got some more
> Pretty soon You gotta take em for a swim! 8)
hahahahaha I thought about getting them a kiddy pool.. you know one of those
for like 5 year olds? Bet they'd love it :) I know Toby and Priscilla loved
the hose and sprinkler
>> seeds planted in the garden beds, and of course Sophie had to LEAP into
> Wow! Planting already? I am still thinking we are gonna get hammered as
> a punishment for all this nice weather.
Lol.. nah, it's spring, I called it (laugh).. really, I planted cool weather
stuff like lettuce, peas, spinach... maybe I'll throw some beans in.. its a
lot earlier than I normally do green beans, but what the heck. Tomatoes
definitely have to wait, and so do pumpkins and squash.. but not too much
longer. Man, it's April Lol Now some years we've had snow on Easter, but
there was no chance of that this year :) It also helps that I use garden
beds, not a
'ground' garden.. so the soil warms up faster than it would otherwise :)
As soon as I saw it was like chocolate cake, in went the peas :)
>> the one bed that wasn't 'high' enough to keep her out.. Man I ran to
>> get these little garden fences I use to keep the critters out of my
>> garden beds :) She started digging immediately haha.. little stinker
> Tell me about it, what is there about spring that they love to dig? Our
> back yard looks like a cartoon pic of a yard invaded by gophers
hahahaha.. I bet.. Our little freaks haven't really discovered that yet,
except for the day Sophie was digging in that garden bed.. all that nice soft
dirt, you know? :)
Take care,
Janis
