Hi Torsten, she was like my Daisy-chan (chan means beloved little one in
Japanese).  The vets guess she is about 20 now but may be older.

She was found in the woods well away from people by some hunters.  2 dead
older kittens and one older kitten barely making it.  She was almost dead from
starvation.  The still living kitten's fate is not known but she was entered in
no-kill and spayed while pregnant with her next liter.

Vet assessment was she about 7 then.  Because she was so sick, she was not
assessed as feral because she just purred when petted if she reacted at all.

Speed forward 18 months and she went through 6 foster sites while also spending
9 months in a cage for adoption.  No more fosters would take her.

Her 'Rap sheet' was a mile long and the most charming was 'actively will attack
toddlers if too close'.  Had to sign a release to adopt.

Well thats been 12 years now... if they were right that she was 7, then she's
21-22 now.
