there's some plastic spike mats on amazon. they're cheap. 
i used to have a sensor thing that sprayed air. it was expensive and ran out 
of batteries and broke easy.

the plastic mats work.

what do you mean corridor? you mean infront of the litterbox?
keep the box clean, keep the litter off the floor and move the box around

... Swamp gas usually doesn't create sonic booms.
