The best way I have found with my two cats is to keep their cat box clean
(both kitties have their own box).  Neither one of my stinkers will touch
their cat boxes if there is _any_ poop or pee clumps in the box...  Also make
sure you clean the place where the kitty has been going, whether it's a rug or
floor, or whatever. They find the area where they've been going with their
'sniffer' (nose) :)
