I'm having issues with formatting (nevermind writing to or reading from) floppies on my 1200. I've basically stiffed the internal drive. Now, trying to format a floppy in my external drive...I get a consistent "Couldn't format Cylinder 0" error. The floppies in question were very well cared for and previously working fine - and it is happening across all of them. I'm worried I have somehow fried the drive logic on the motherboard, as I was previously having the same issue on the internal drive (leading to my ill-fated repair attempts.) Any ideas or suggestions much appreciated! --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: >>> Magnum BBS <<< - bbs.magnum.uk.net (2:250/3) SEEN-BY: 1/19 120 15/0 16/0 18/0 200 19/10 37 25/0 21 90/1 105/81 SEEN-BY: 106/201 116/116 120/616 123/0 10 25 130 180 200 755 3001 SEEN-BY: 128/260 129/305 132/174 135/115 225 142/104 153/757 7715 SEEN-BY: 154/10 30 40 50 700 203/0 218/700 840 220/10 90 221/1 6 360 SEEN-BY: 222/2 226/18 30 227/114 229/110 112 113 206 275 307 317 400 SEEN-BY: 229/426 428 470 664 700 230/0 240/1120 5832 250/0 1 3 4 5 SEEN-BY: 250/6 7 8 11 13 14 263/0 266/512 275/1000 280/5003 282/1038 SEEN-BY: 291/111 299/6 301/1 320/119 219 319 2119 322/0 757 325/304 SEEN-BY: 326/101 335/364 341/66 342/19 200 396/45 423/81 460/58 467/4 SEEN-BY: 712/848 1321 2320/105 3634/0 12 27 56 57 5020/400 1042 5058/104 SEEN-BY: 5075/35 PATH: 250/3 1 3634/12 154/10 221/6 1 320/219 229/426 |
