My wife called our son's his "weasel". . . Before we taught him the
anatomical  terms. . .

The danger in teaching cutesy nicknames for one's birth righted 'toy' is when
a kid tells his teacher, "the gym teacher was rubbing my squirrel" his class 
teacher might think nothing of another teacher touching a kid's plush toy he 
brought to school that day, when it's actually evidence of a far more
sinister  occurrence. . . :P
