Friends of mine have done this in their backyard -- clearing the way so it's
a  natural park-like lightly canopied area the son can easily get his
wheelchair  out into to enjoy a cool breezy day or evening in the summer. . .

The ground is solid, lightly covered in hemlock needles. . .
