Proxmox already has that build in... Veeam has a couple of options. Hypervisor level based backup of vm's (ESXi/Hyper-V etc). Veeam Agent, that run's on the VM or even real hardware (I use it on both). Yes, Proxmox also has builtin support for backing up VM's. It does have some limitations though.
