I saw some in stores for$700+ USD, that was way more than I wanted to spend on Color Monitor. I asked over Ham Radio and was suggested to get a MAG Innovision 15" Multisync CTR. Back in 1984 a TV Set was all that was needed for the Commodore 64, but after 9 years of using it, and using a XT Clone w/ Green Screen at work for 3 years I wanted a 486 built. Someone at Church worked with a person who built PC's and had them call me about building one. I specified the MAG Monitor which back then sold for $535USD, what Video Card and how much Memory (16MB) in a Tower Case. The price quoted was well within prices in the magazine so I had it built. The MAG Monitor got put in the box when I saw a 19" LED for $200USD after getting a XP PC in IIRC 2006. That LCD Monitor sure beats the price back in 1993 for a 17"'er that sold for $700+USD. --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) SEEN-BY: 15/0 105/81 106/201 116/17 18 128/260 129/305 135/225 153/7715 SEEN-BY: 218/700 226/30 227/114 229/110 112 113 307 317 426 428 470 SEEN-BY: 229/664 700 282/1038 291/111 320/219 322/757 396/45 712/848 SEEN-BY: 2320/0 105 401 5075/35 PATH: 2320/105 229/426 |
