Yes, I am going to check out OpenXP... and as far is period-correct access? 
I'm currently on a Tandy 1000 TL/2 with an IBM 5153 CGA monitor LOL.

I do use Syncterm on modern machines, but I usually do my daily BBSing on the
Tandy ;)
