All and all I did not get to experience the various graphics modes int 
the PC world.  Had a Mac most of that time.  I believe I was looking at 
black and white till 1996.   Got my Mac Performa and had my first color 
Mac.  Faster and more color was nice, but I do miss the simplicity and 
crispness of the black and white display.   Mac was so cute early on.
