When I originally found the dxx-rebirth project I got the data from a torrent since that was all I could find. I later found Descent and Descent II on gog.com so I bought it there. They were removed from gog.com a short time later and I don't know if it has or will return there or not. I beleive the dxx-rebirth software will work with the Descent shareware and Decent II demo data as well and IIRC that is available at the dxx-rebirth.com website. There is a new game along the lines of descent, a continuation I think by the original developers (I am not certain of that). Last I looked it was just starting up. I haven't yet but I have meant to look that up and see what is up there today. I forget at the moment what it was called but a search will likely turn it up. It did look interesting to me. --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-4 * Origin: The Rusty MailBox - Penticton, BC Canada (1:153/757) SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/2 18/200 57/0 153/757 220/70 226/16 227/114 229/354 SEEN-BY: 229/426 452 728 981 1014 240/5832 249/206 317 250/3 267/800 SEEN-BY: 317/3 322/757 342/200 633/0 267 280 281 408 410 412 640/1384 SEEN-BY: 712/620 848 886 770/0 1 100 330 340 772/0 1 210 500 PATH: 153/757 770/1 712/848 633/280 229/426 |
