There are quite a few authors who seem to write as if their stories
would play out as a movie. Some are:

James Patterson
Dean Koontz
Dan Brown

They are often under a do-not-disclose clause.

Sometimes the author is very particular in having control in the
story-line for a film version.

One recent story I compared between book and film was Diamonds are
Forever. The film is a very radical departure from the original
story. I guess some film directors/screenwriters believe they can
improve the original.

Is that a quiz? Who is that author?
