A lot of "digital nomads" are taking jobs in faraway countries. If you could 
work from anywhere and the cost of living is low, why not?

I'd hate to be stuck paying rent or a mortgage on a place while I was stuck.

Best taxis ever? San Miguel De Allende, MX. All clean, lots of cabs, and you 
could go about all day for around $5. I'd thought I'd thought about paying a 
cabbie $15 per day to be a personal driver.
