There is no reason for the phone to stop working.  The older java
based blackberry's yes 100% will stop as they did everything through
a special blackberry server.  THe OS10 phones are standard, I'm sure
all it means is the app store, bbm, etc will cease.

I'd play it by ear.  I don't think they would bother.  Doesn't 
make any sense.
