That would make sense, & the date of the new year changes occasionally to 
accommodate another corporate leader's desire to cash in on it & try to outdo 
the competition from another angle, as they've sewn up the original?

I skip the hoopla, go to bed early on 31/12, & if I wake up the next day &
all  is gone, I'll just go back to bed. (I started that bit for Y2K & kept it
as I  like it)
