   Face it, these stupid fuckin' hippies (like this "chatnoir"

   shows up) think everything can run on sunshine and   
   breezes...and not a one of 'em knows anything at all   
   about energy density or conversion efficiency.  ALL   
   of the "green" technologies are losers - every single   
   one requires more oil to implement than they can   
   replace.  Ethanol, for instance...it takes much more   
   than one gallon of petroleum to produce one gallon   
   of ethanol, and ethanol isn't anywhere near as energy-   
   dense as gasoline. Not to mention the side-effects   
   the hippies never want to talk about, like phosphate   
   run-off from fertilizer, and poisons added to the   
   environment by insecticides used to protect the   
   crops. Not to mention which, the DUMBEST FUCKING THING   
   YOU CAN POSSIBLY DO IS BURN YOUR GODDAMN FOOD!   
   Anyone notice that E-85 now costs quite a bit more than   
   gasoline?  Anyone want to speculate on why that is?
