   Cop needs to die.   
      
   Officers responding to a home invasion in Colorado reportedly   
   gunned down the homeowner — moments after he reportedly fatally   
   shot the intruder.   
      
   Police in Aurora received multiple calls around 1:30 a.m. Monday   
   reporting a disturbance, news station KUSA reported. One of the   
   callers reportedly told 911 that a man broke into her home.   
      
   Officials said they arrived at the “very chaotic and violent”   
   scene and heard gunshots inside a home.   
      
   They reportedly encountered an armed man and an officer shot him.   
      
   The armed victim was later identified as the homeowner, 73-year-   
   old Richard “Gary” Black.   
      
   Black was a US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War and   
   was a certified public accountant, according to KUSA.   
      
   Police said that a child injured by the intruder was brought to   
   the hospital. The dead trespasser’s identity hasn’t been   
   released.   
      
   “This is a very heartbreaking and tragic situation for everyone   
   involved,” a police spokesperson said in a statement. “We are   
   providing assistance through our victim advocates to help the   
   family of the deceased resident through this very difficult   
   time.”
