    Some networks (including mine at the time) bill circuit-
switched data (CSD) calls as voice calls, but require data plans for
packet-switched data services such as GPRS, EDGE and UMTS.  I just took
advantage of free night and weekend voice calls by placing my BBS calls at
those times.
