From: nszabolcs@gmail.com              Hello              I'm working on regression as well and i don't know about a standard       benchmarks in this area.              In low dimension (1 or 2) i use sinc + white noise which seems to be       the most used in articles (however the exact parameters may vary), but       it's not the best choice.              I also would like to see some datasets in this area with different       dimensionality / noise level / smoothness / input size.              IMHO currently the best solution is to make your own data and test the       method on that.       I'd choose sg like: F(x1,x2,x3,x4) = f1(x1) f2(x2) f3(x3) f4(x4) with       simple (sin?) functions.              nsz              [ comp.ai is moderated ... your article may take a while to appear. ]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
