From: schulte@imit.kth.se               Call for Demos               To be held at the 12th International Conference on        Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP 2006)        Nantes, France               25-29 September 2006              The CP conference is the annual international conference on constraint       programming and related areas. It is concerned with all aspects of       computing with constraints, including: theory, algorithms, applications,       environments, languages, models and systems.              CP'06 will feature session(s) devoted to demos of either academic or       industrial tools and applications. Demos are solicited from all       disciplines related to constraints and from practitioners and academics       alike. Demos that focus on innovative research ideas, actual systems or       applications that critically depend on constraint technology are       strongly encouraged. Specific topics of interest include (but are not       limited to): Constraint Solvers (Finite Domain, Continuous, Local,       Satisfiability based, etc); Modeling Tools / Environments; Applications       in any area based on constraint technologies.              SUBMISSION       ----------              Send a one-page description of your demo to ldm@engr.uconn.edu in PDF       format by the deadline listed below. The one page document should       include              * The contact person (affiliation and contact information)       * The content of the demo: what will be shown.       * Specific needs for the demo (you are expected to bring your own hardware)              PARTICIPATION       -------------              At least one author of each accepted demo must attend the       conference to demo his/her system.              IMPORTANT DATES       ---------------              One-page demo descriptions: August 6, 2006       Notification of acceptance: August 13, 2006       Conference dates: September 24-29, 2006              FURTHER INFORMATION       -------------------              CP'06 Conference: http://www.sciences.univ-nantes.fr/cp06/              [ comp.ai is moderated ... your article may take a while to appear. ]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
