Hi, I'm wondering why some papers say that it is necessary that the   
   connections of a hopfield net is symmetric and without self loops. I'd   
   like to know where the necessasity lies (in the proof of the   
   convergence theorem where those two conditions apply restrictions and   
   without those conditions can't we prove it)
