|    recommender systems expert?    |
|    19 Jun 07 12:45:27    |
From: hwolff@artlogic.com              I'm looking for an expert in the theory or practice of recommender       systems and collaborative filtering algorithms, for some short-term       consulting.              My company has a client who wants to patent a system containing an       algorithm related to recommender systems. (More details following       NDA, of course.) The question is, what similar algorithms have been       published before? I've done a bunch of research on the Web, but it's       not my field and I'm running out of resources. We'd like someone       who's written papers in this area, who can either answer off the top       of their head or dig more deeply into the literature.              It's probably only 1-3 days of work, but should pay well. We'd like       to set this up in the next week or two. I think we can do the whole       thing by phone and e-mail.              Thanks for any leads.              [ comp.ai is moderated ... your article may take a while to appear. ]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
