Hi there.              I'm a young sociologist with a growing interest in computational       sociology, social modelling and agent-based simulation, and i wanted       to know where should i start to get a begginer's view of the field and       learn the different skills needed in it. For now, i'm taking courses       in data mining, and learning R and weka, and studying calculus and       algebra and other basic mathematical tools, but besides that, where       should i look? What readings or subjects would you recomend to a       begginer in AI and agent-based modelling?              Thanks!              Jose Tomas Atria.              [ comp.ai is moderated ... your article may take a while to appear. ]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
