   mmm... the net is full of enthusiastic reviews, which usually sounds   
   suspect   
   can you post an example of a toy problem from the book?   
      
   by now I found nice problems - still to be solved - in the Common   
   Sense Problem Page at http://www-formal.stanford.edu/leora/commonsense/   
   but they aren't definitely hello world style   
      
   to summarize:   
   toy problem for imperative programming: print a sentence on the   
   terminal   
   toy problem for functional programming: compute n!
