|    Seeking post-doc or research position    |

From: k_v_v@iname.com              Dear colleagues,              I am looking for a post-doc or research position in the fields of       neural networks, fuzzy set theory, hybrid neuro-fuzzy techniques,       adaptive control, process modeling, identification, time-series       forecasting, fault diagnosis, intelligent data analysis or similar, in       one of West European universities or research institutes.              I was born 11.06.1976 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. My native language is       Ukrainian. I am also fluent in Russian and English. I have been       learning German for 3 years (I can understand, speak, and read       scientific literature). My writing skills in German still require       improvement, though I can write e-mails or internal reports.              I received the M.Sc. degree (with honors) in control engineering from       Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, Kharkiv, Ukraine in       1998, and the Ph.D. degree in control engineering from the same       university in 2002. The subject of my Ph.D. thesis was "Control of       stochastic systems under uncertainty using fuzzy neural models". Since       1998, I have been with the Control Systems Research Laboratory of       Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics.              I have taken part in research projects on development of mathematical       support for control systems, diagnostics, forecasting and emulation       using adaptive identification, fuzzy and neural network techniques for       5 years. I participated in many high-level international scientific       conferences. I have been an IEEE Member since 2000 (signal processing       and neural network societies). The results of my research were       published in 38 papers, including those in international refereed       journals, edited volumes, and conference proceedings.              Recent publications in refereed international journals and edited       volumes:       1. I had been with the       Intitute of Automatic Control and System Engineering of Technical       University of Ilmenau since September, 2002 till July, 2003. I was       working on a research project "Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Systems for       Time-Series Forecasting and Control of Nonlinear Dynamic Plants".              Beside scientific qualifications, I have extensive experience in       programming and software development       (MatLab/C++/Pascal/Delphi/Assembler/SQL).              For more information, please contact me via the address below.       References can be given upon request. I would be available for the job       starting from 1.01.2004, and for a personal interview at any agreed       time (I have a multiple-entry visa for Schengen countries valid till       30.04.2004).              With best regards,       **************************************       Vitaliy Kolodyazhniy, Ph.D.       Senior researcher       Control Systems Research Laboratory       Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics       Lenin av., 14, room 511       Kharkiv 61166       Ukraine              Tel. +38-050-9276946       kolodyazhniy@ukr.net              [ comp.ai is moderated.
