   You might also want to look at some of the other regression techniques   
   like support vector regression (google libsvm for example) or kernel   
   recursive least squares (dclib.sf.net for example) which in many cases   
   I find is very powerful and easy to train.  They are often much easier   
   to train than a neural network.
