   There are quite a few different algorithms you could use here - a lot   
   of people like k-means. We've developed an Excel addin that uses our   
   own general purpose pattern discovery algorithm and it may be suitable   
   for you. If you're interested in a commercial application, you can   
   download a free trial version at http://www.pececillo.com .
