|    weakness of predicate logic?    |
|    21 Jan 04 08:49:19    |
From: nomail@mail.invalid              What are the problems, or weaknesses of predicate logic?              (if considering a strong AI that would function with logic)                     Can someone give an example of something in world, that can't be easily       described by predicate logic, or something which is computationally hard to       handle?              Can propabilities be added to logic?                     Can logic deal with information (propositions?) that is faulty?              If considering people, different persons have different knowledge about       world, where many pieces can be opposite with other persons knowledge, ie.       person has lots of faulty information, but still he is able to function.              [ comp.ai is moderated.
