   I'll bite.   
      
   CLIPS is forward chaining, and decision trees are more closely related   
   to backward chaining systems (though of course they could be implemented   
   in something like CLIPS, but not very clearly).   
      
   I can't help you with a visual representation other than to say   
   that Texas Instruments used to market a product called Arborist   
   which implemented decision trees and displayed them (IIRC)   
   graphically.   Perhaps there's now a freeware version.
