   Two Temporary Lectureships in Artificial Intelligence and Discrete   
   Mathematics

   Department of Engineering Mathematics, University of Bristol, UK   
      
   You will work in the Department of Engineering Mathematics to cover for   
   Dr Trevor Martin who has been awarded a BT Senior Fellowship and for Dr   
   Jonathan Rossiter who has been awarded a Royal Society Japan-UK   
   Fellowship. Both appointments will be for one year in the first   
   instance, with likely extensions to 31 March 2006 for the first post and   
   30 November 2007 for the second. It is also likely that one or both   
   posts could be extended further. You will belong to the Artificial   
   Intelligence group based in the Department and must be willing to teach   
   Discrete Mathematics to undergraduates. Both appointments are available   
   from 1 October 2004. Interviews are anticipated to be held in mid July.
