   Hi,   
   I am working on symmetries in cyclone images. I intend to use the   
   following techniques:   
   - vectorize the imgs into trees, in which x+x is commutative, x.x is   
   not   
   - symplify the trees by associative rule   
      
   xx+xx (2 lines) -> x(x+x) (a tree)   
      
   - subsequent queries could be solved by the opposite rule   
      
   If you know about a tree-based knowledge-based system for storing and   
   querying complex patterns please tell me.
