|    Eliminating Interpolating Neurons in Sel    |

Hi,              I'm currently searching for some kind of stable algorithm which detects       interpolating units in a SOM. I think i have to go via the U-Matrix       approach. However, most threshold based algorithms will fail, if the       SOM is rather small and only contains few (if any) interpolating units.       Is there any standard procedure out there?              Christoph              [ comp.ai is moderated.
