I know that the fuzzy logic community has used the term       fuzzy clustering forever as well.              My first knowledge of this was in the context of Gaussian mixture       clustering about 15 years ago.              I wonder if the terms even need a reference any more. They are       relatively self-explanatory. At most a parenthetical sentence along       the lines of what Yaroslav said would be sufficient. Certainly, I       would not give one of the many, many articles that have used the terms       credit for having invented it.              [ comp.ai is moderated.
