|    multi-agents    |

From: chariya@verizon.not              I would like to build a system of agents to monitor specific       aspects of a software.       Want to start real simple: a two agent team:       - monitoring agent (MA): objective is to monitor a file       system that a software uses to cache some images files. If       the usage is beyond a given threshold, MA will write a       status log (say a table in a database).       - acting agent (AA): AA subscribes to the status log and       act on it.              Of course we would write a simple script such as perl to do       this easily, but I want to learn the concept of multi-agents       by actually building them. If this is a success, then the       size of the team and tasks they perform can be increased.              SO.... Anyone has could guide my into he right direction?       Any free java library some where I can use as a start?              Thanks.       packat              [ comp.ai is moderated.
