      XPost: comp.human-factors, comp.cog-eng              Job Title: Research Scientist in Human Factors (Level 2/3)              The Rich Interaction Environment Group at the Pacific Northwest       National Laboratory seeks to hire a dynamic individual with       computational skills and strong credentials in human factors. The       objective of the Rich Interaction Environment Group is to contribute to       reducing the interaction barriers between humans and computers.       The Successful Candidate Will:       -Develop scientific/technical software applications and work on applied       software projects.       -Contribute to inter-disciplinary teams of researchers in developing       novel human-computer interface techniques for pervasive computing       environments and decision-support tools.       -Assist with generating future research directions and contribute to       tactical and strategic planning.       -Experience building interactive systems that combine dialogue,       agent-based reasoning, virtual reality, and sophisticated immersive       multimedia environments would be highly valued.       Minimum Requirements:       Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years experience or a Master's degree with       0-2 years experience or a Ph.D. is required. Expected to contribute       professionally, building a professional reputation for technical       expertise.
