   This may not be the answer you seek, but Adobe Streamline does a pretty   
   amazing job of this.  It also highlights a lot of the limitations that   
   you might expect to run into.   
      
   Even if you are doing this for a school project, it doesn't hurt to   
   look at what a number of experts working for quite a few years have   
   accomplished.
