The only way I can think of, If a word has multiple meanings, by       subtracting a word similarly related to the alternate meanning you can       "lock in" to the original one.              for example       dog, cat, mouse - are all commonly known animals.              however cat is also a unix command and made common because computer       science is so wildy discussed on the internet.       ls, cat, man, are all commands              by subtracting "ls" and not "cat" we can create a set of common animals       excluding unix commands but including cat.              [ comp.ai is moderated.
