I agree with sarge, but I think this book is not a very interesting   
   read. It's good if you're already interested in the field.   
   For me, the book that brought me into wanting to know more about AI was   
   "The Quantum Brain" by Satinov.   
   I just read Jeff Hawkins book and I find it very good... perhaps not so   
   as the first book to read on the subject.
