      From: yaroslavvb@gmail.com              Generally, AI includes things that top AI journals would publish, and       Machine Learning includes things that top Machine Learning journals       would publish.       So if compare JAIR vs JMLR, you'll see that Machine Learning tends to       be more statistics oriented, and AI more discrete math oriented.       There's no real clear separation between them though              [ comp.ai is moderated.
