|    balancing number of Agents    |

XPost: sci.cognitive              Let's imagine the situation, where Shop Agent provide a certain number       (pool) of Seller agents to serve Buyer agents. This could be solved       using dynamic pooling: when number of alive agents is not enough to       serve yet another Buyer, another one is created on call.              Thus number of alive Seller agents (N) could depend on:       - time of the they (rush hours?)       - other factors ?              Creating new Seller agent is time-compusing, host a great number (N) of       alive agents is resource-consuming.              Problem is how to balance N ?       I describe this problem in a very general way, because I'd rather want       some keywords, general papers regarding to this problem. Do you know       any?              TIA,              Maciej              [ comp.ai is moderated. To submit, just post and be patient, or if ]       [ that fails mail your article to |
