Assuming you are trying to compare two big texts only, I think you can   
   vectorize the two texts into two high-dimensional vector via techniques   
   like TF-IDF. Following this stream, Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) is   
   one classical, statistical model of word usage. It permits the measure   
   of the semantic similarity between two texts.
