|    S-function Question    |
|    03 Sep 03 17:51:49    |
From: ivlachos@egnatia.ee.auth.gr              Hi.              S-function is the most common function used to represent certain types of       fuzzy sets. Why is that? Why other types of polynomial functions are not as       common as the S-function? Exept the fact that S-function is suitable for       representing certain types of fuzzy sets, is its popularity also due to       historical reasons (since Zadeh introduced the S-function)?              Any references or hints are welcome.              Ioannis Vlachos              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
