It may be       that your spam filter has "false positives", that is, it interprets       as spam messages that are not spam.              As a person who has already helped to start newsgroups in the 80s,       I was aware of the process. Not wanting to make assumptions,       I decided to check again all appropriate FAQs, to see if anything       had changed. After this, following some private e-mail, we decided       that we did not want to touch the existing usenet comp.ai.fuzzy.       The discussion moved to the fact that some people may move       to a privately run and moderated newsgroup where currently       there is zero spam. That's it. No intention of preventing you       from reading about "Gwenyth Paltrow Sex Video Online".              So, to summarize: the present discussion is not about changing       in any way, including transforming from un-moderated to       moderated, a usenet newsgroup.              Best regards              Bruno Di Stefano                     >>You are free to stay here and read about "Gwenyth Paltrow Sex       >>Video Online".       >       >       > As I have mentioned, I don't have spam.       >       > By the way, spammers are smart enough to spam moderated groups.       > Actually, this is pretty trivial...       >       > A.L.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
