   The point with the Google groups is simple -- you have to register to post.   
   This means that, moderated or not, the chances that it will be flooded with   
   all sorts of spam is fairly low. A low spam or no spam group will then   
   provide an active environment to discuss important issues.   
      
   The reason that the Google fuzzy logic group has had such low traffic is (a)   
   all the Google groups are Beta and are new, (b) not a lot of people know   
   about them, and (c) it will take awhile for fuzzy researchers and workers to   
   join.
