   Mark,

I have been supplying corrections as well as a new, working CD-ROM of the
software for everyone who contacted me. There were a number of typos in the
book, but the biggest problem was my publisher's mistake in publishing an
earlier, in-development version of the software before it was complete. This
has caused me no end of trouble! If you will send me your snail mail
address, I will gladly send you an update package for the FSH, 2nd Edition.
I can't promise a one or two day turn-around since I am very busy at the
moment and on the road quite a bit, but I will get it to you as soon as
possible. This update will also be available on the next update to the
   Scianta Intelligence web site.

You might be referring to an error I made in the equation of S-curve fuzzy
sets. This has been fixed so the inflexion point does not have to be exactly
at the 50% point in the set. On the other hand it might have been something
else, I am, after all, not perfect!

      Best regards,
