I have to make another post to make an addition because OE has managed to
send the draft already (in automatic send/receive mode), while I've been
   editing it... :(

There's another one... OE wouldn't let me to subscribe to a group whose name
I know -- it would require me to download the entire list of the newsgroups
from the NNTP server first and then select the group from the list, which I
hate to do when I'm on a dialup. Oddly enough, there's a shortcut -- I may
create an HTML page containing a link of the form "news:newsgroupname" (it
doesn't want to let me type the previous thing in the quotes w/o the
quotes -- too smart :) and click on it, which would add a newsgroup to your
news account w/o getting the list of groups!
