   The residents won't need to know anything about it.   
      
   (I see you might be from Germany. I remember driving on the autobahn   
   there when junctions were named instead of being numbered.   
      
   That meant that, if passing a junction (or ausfahrt), you had no idea   
   how many more junctions until your exit, or whether you'd already passed   
   your exit a couple of junctions back. Not unless you'd memorised all the   
   the names, or had a navigator.)
