   0x4a? all hex are alike to me.   
      
   I've tried a (16 bit) 5:4 encoding as you described; using a terminating   
   Double Quote (DQ) 0x22=("), but I'm still over 4 lines, and encoded text   
   would need to be in your "special" form (0x23==0 rather than std 0x21=0).   
   Still, it gives me something to do (snowed in here).
