   Would this system run on top of FreeDOS, as Win3.x and Win9x (to some   
   extent) ran on top of MS-DOS?   
      
   I noticed that ReactOS does not boot from a DOS environment (it's more   
   like WinNT in this regard). In fact it doesn't even have an installer that   
   can be started from DOS, which unfortunately makes it very inconvenient to   
   install and test.
